Lubricants Prices Heading Up!
The majors continue to announce increases in the price of finished lubricants in response to several factors including recent increases in base oil, additives and packaging costs.
Cenex Lubricants has not yet determined a date for an increase, but any increase will likely follow industry averages.
The notification period for an increase may be shorter than the typical 30 days notice.
To date, the following companies have announced price increases within the range of 6%-8% effective in late February or early March:
BP, Castrol, Chevron, Texaco, Conoco, Phillips, Exxon Mobil, Petro-Canada, Shell

Gearlube 80W90: $10.00/gal*
Quicklift HTB: $12.50/gal*
Indol ISO 100: $9.75/gal*
Drip Oil: $10.00/gal*

2010 Fuel Contract Info:
Farm Fuel contract prices for spring and summer 2010 have been relatively stable as the market searches for direction. Prices are being driven by supply and demand as well as economic news. At this time, contract prices look like this:
Spring (March-May 2010): $2.53
Summer (June-August): 2.58
Fall (September - November): $2.69
